You can submit a time off request directly from the Geo-CX app. Once submitted, your request goes to your manager for review. You will receive a notification when it is approved or denied.
This article covers how to fill out and submit a time off request.

How to Submit a Time Off Request
Open Time Off
From the sidebar, tap Time Off. Your request list opens on the Pending tab.
Tap Add New Time Off Request
The button is at the bottom of the screen. The request form opens.
Select your dates
Tap Start Date to open the date picker and choose when your time off begins. Then tap End Date to choose when it ends.
- The earliest available start date is tomorrow — same-day and past dates are not selectable.
- The end date cannot be before the start date.
- For a single day off, set both dates to the same day.
Select a reason
Tap the Reason dropdown and select the type that best describes your request — for example, Vacation, Sick Leave, Medical, or Personal.
- A reason is required.
Add a comment
Enter any additional context for your manager in the comment field.
- A comment is required — up to 500 characters.
- Be as specific as needed to help your manager understand the request.
Tap Submit
The request is sent to your manager for review. You are taken back to the Pending tab where the new request appears. Your manager receives a notification to review it.

What Happens After You Submit
Once submitted, your request moves to the Pending tab in your time off list. Your manager will review it and take action — you receive a push notification when the outcome is decided.
| Outcome | What you see |
|---|---|
| Approved | Request moves to the Approved tab. Your manager may have added a comment. |
| Denied | Request moves to the Rejected tab. Your manager's reason for denial is attached. |

Things to Know
You cannot request time off for today or past dates. All requests must start at least one day from today. If you need to record time off that already happened, contact your manager directly.
You cannot have overlapping requests. If you submit a request with dates that conflict with an existing one, the app will reject it. Check your current requests before submitting.
Multi-week requests are split automatically. If your request spans more than one week, the system divides it into separate weekly segments behind the scenes. This does not affect how it appears to you — you still see it as a single request.
Your manager assigns the time off type. You do not choose whether the time off counts as PTO, Sick, or another category — your manager classifies it when they review the request.
