Overview

The Project Management module is where you create and manage all projects in your organization. From here you can track each project's timeline, assigned team, shifts, and status — all in one place.

This module is only available on the Geo-CX web platform.

**Access requires specific permissions. If you do not see Project Management in the sidebar, contact your administrator.

How to Access Project Management

From the sidebar, click Project Management. The project list loads showing all projects in your organization.

The Project List

Projects appear as cards. A counter at the top shows how many projects are currently displayed.

Each project card shows:

ElementWhat it shows
AvatarA colored circle with the project's initial — color is assigned automatically
Project nameThe name of the project
Status badgeActive (blue), Completed (gray), or Paused (orange) — shown below the project name
ManagerThe construction manager(s) assigned to the project
ResourcesNumber of team members currently assigned
ShiftsNumber of shifts configured
Start DateWhen the project begins
End DateWhen the project is scheduled to end — shown in red if the date has passed
View / Edit buttonsActions available depending on your permissions

Searching, Filtering, and Sorting

Search — Use the search bar at the top to filter by project name. Results update as you type.

Filter by status — Use the All statuses dropdown to show only Active, Completed, or Paused projects.

Sort — Use the Sort dropdown to order projects by name, start date, or status. Toggle the sort direction with the arrow button next to it.

Project Actions

Each card has two action buttons:

ActionWhat it does
ViewOpens the project detail — a read-only view of all configuration, shifts, and assigned team
EditOpens the project edit form — available only to users with edit permissions

To create a new project, click the + New Project button in the top-right corner. This button is only visible to users with project creation permissions.

Project Status

Projects can have three statuses:

StatusMeaning
ActiveThe project is currently running — team members can punch in
CompletedThe project has ended

Things to Know

Project timezone affects all time records. Every punch in, punch out, and shift time is recorded in the project's timezone — not the device or browser timezone. Set this carefully when creating a project.

End dates shown in red are overdue. If a project's end date has passed and the project is still Active, the end date appears in red as a visual indicator.
