How to Resubmit a Rejected Timesheet
Overview
If your timesheet was denied, it comes back to you with a reason attached. You can review the feedback, make corrections if needed, and resubmit it for approval.
This article covers how to find a rejected timesheet, how to read the denial reason, and how to resubmit it.
This action is only available to field workers. Resubmission applies to the role that originally submitted the timesheet for review. Supervisors and managers have different approval flows.
For an overview of the timesheet screens, see → Your Timesheet: Weekly View and Daily Breakdown.

How to Find a Rejected Timesheet
Go to your timesheet list
From the sidebar, tap Timesheet → Own.
Tap the Rejected tab
The Rejected tab shows all timesheets that have been denied. Find the week you need to correct and tap View.
Reading the Denial Reason
Before resubmitting, read the reason your manager provided. This tells you exactly what needs to be corrected.
At the bottom of the daily breakdown, tap View All Comments to open the full comment thread. This shows every action taken on the timesheet — your original submission, the denial with the manager's reason, and any previous resubmissions.

Read the denial reason before resubmitting. Resubmitting without addressing the issue may result in another denial. If the reason is unclear, contact your manager directly before resubmitting.
How to Resubmit
Review the daily breakdown
Check your punch times and hours for the week. If a correction was made to your entries by your manager in the meantime, the updated values will already be reflected here.
Tap Resubmit
The Resubmit button appears at the bottom of the daily breakdown for any rejected timesheet.
Add your resubmission reason
A popup asks you to explain why you are resubmitting. This is required.
- Explain what was corrected or clarify the situation — for example: "Added missing Friday punch-out, I forgot to punch out that day."
- Maximum 400 characters.
- Your reason becomes part of the comment thread visible to your manager.
Resubmission confirmed
Your timesheet moves back to the Pending tab. Your manager receives a notification and can review it again for approval.

What Happens After Resubmission
Once you resubmit, the timesheet goes directly to your manager's approval queue — it does not go back through supervisor validation first.
On your manager's side, the timesheet is marked as resubmitted. The Deny option is disabled for resubmitted timesheets, meaning your manager can only approve it at this point. This prevents the same timesheet from being denied more than once.
Things to Know
You cannot change your punch times yourself. Resubmission sends the timesheet back for review as-is — it does not give you the ability to edit the punch times directly. If a time correction is needed, contact your manager and ask them to edit the entry before you resubmit. See → How to Edit a Timesheet Entry.
The full comment history is always visible. Every action — original submission, denial reason, resubmission reason, and approval — is recorded in the comment thread. Tap View All Comments on any timesheet to see the full history. See → Timesheet History: View Activity and Edit History.
